Question 1

How much does landscape lighting cost in Kentucky?

Accepted Answer

The cost depends on the areas you want lit, fixture selection, cable routes, controls, access and existing equipment. Start with a conversation about your property so the scope and price can be discussed together.

Question 2

Can I see what my house will look like before I buy anything?

Accepted Answer

Start with a lighting call. For suitable projects, an after-dark demo on your property can help explore the design before installation. Images labeled as fictional AI concepts on this site are design ideas, not completed customer jobs or a guarantee of the finished result.

Question 7

Do you install permanent holiday lighting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. App-controlled permanent roofline lighting systems that stay year-round.

Question 8

Timing depends on the property, access and agreed scope. We discuss the schedule before installation and follow up with an after-dark walkthrough to check the lighting.

Question 9

Is landscape lighting worth it?

For most homes, yes. It improves curb appeal, security, and how much you actually use your outdoor space after dark, and a home that shows well at night stands out. It also protects what you have already invested in your landscaping.

Question 10

Question 13

What makes the free after-dark demo different?

Accepted Answer

We start with a lighting call. For suitable projects, we bring fixtures to your property for a free after-dark demo so you can explore the lighting on your own home before installation.

Question 14

Do I approve where the lights go before you install?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We walk the plan with you and confirm the placement of every fixture. Nothing goes in the ground until you have signed off on the layout.

Question 15

Why do you use brass instead of aluminum?

Accepted Answer

Brass does not rust. Painted aluminum fixtures corrode within a few Kentucky winters and need replacing. Brass weathers to a warm patina and keeps working for decades, so you buy the system once.

Question 16

Will landscape lighting raise my electric bill?

Accepted Answer

Very little. We use low-voltage LED systems that draw a small amount of power, so a full property typically adds only a modest amount to your monthly bill.

Question 17

Is low-voltage lighting safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Low-voltage systems run on 12 volts through a transformer, which is far safer around people, pets, and landscaping than line-voltage wiring.
